Ian is a founding Partner of The Brookes Partnership LLP and is responsible for the management of the firm. Ian was Managing Director at Dresdner Kleinwort and Head of DKW consumer staples team for 10 years and a top-ranked European food analyst. Ian then worked at Numis focusing on UK and European Mid-cap M&A and corporate finance as a Director for Corporate Finance. Ian graduated from London University BSc in biochemistry and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
David Kappler
David is currently Senior Independent Director of two FTSE100 organisations: Shire, the pharmaceuticals company (where he is also Deputy Chairman), and Intercontinental Hotels. David is also Chairman of a private company ADS2Brands Ltd, a brewing equipment business where he supported an MBO . He spent his executive career with Cadbury Schweppes, initially working for the Group between 1965 and 1984 in a wide range of financial and strategic roles. He re-joined the Group in 1989 following its acquisition of Trebor Group, where he was Finance Director. He then served as Cadbury Schweppes' Chief Financial Officer from 1995 until his retirement in 2004. During this time he served on boards in a range of different countries. He was previously Chairman of Premier Foods and a non-executive director of HMV and Camelot Group. David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Antony Hovanessien
Antony is a qualified corporate finance lawyer with extensive M&A experience at Barclays Capital and Kaupthing banks with international law firms DLA Piper and Clifford Chance.
Darren Chadwick
Darren is a founding General Partner of The Brookes Partnership LLP and is responsible for the management of the firm's business in North America whilst being very actively engaged in the European business. Darren has extensive experience of financial markets and corporate finance in food having been a Managing Director at HSBC, Dresdner Kleinwort and Citigroup. Darren has bachelors and masters degrees in economics.
